Today in bizarre showbiz news: A surrogate mother who gave birth to Flipping Out's Jeff Lewis and Gage Edward's child on an episode of the Bravo home remodeling show is suing the network for not getting her consent to use the footage of her giving birth.

Variety reports that Alexandra Trent filed the lawsuit against the shows producers on Tuesday, seeking damages for unlawful recording, invasion of privacy and fraud. Trent claims that she did not give the show permission to film the birth and the footage used was humiliating.

Trent says that she met Lewis and Edward via a classified ad in 2015. She consented to having doctors' appointments filmed, but not the birth. But when she gave birth to the couple's daughter in 2016, producers surreptitiously filmed her. On the episode 0f Flipping Out documenting the birth, she is heard screaming in pain, and the suit alleges that the episode uses a blurred-out image of her vagina.

Trent alleges that Lewis and Edward made "disgusting" comments about her on the show. In the episode, Lewis says "If I was a surrogate, and I had known there was going to be an audience, I probably would have waxed. And that was the shocking part for Gage. I don't think Gage had ever seen a vagina, let alone one that big."

Trent says was not aware she was filmed until well after the episode had aired, and when she watched clips online, she was devastated.

"In their quest for ratings, Defendants have deeply damaged Trent and have caused incredible anguish, self-loathing, contempt and depression," the suit states.

Lewis responded to the suit with a sarcastic Instagram post, sharing a screenshot of the Variety article with the caption "I guess we won't be using her again."

I guess we won't be using her again. 😢
