Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and National Defence Fund(NDF)

All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

In Assam, nearly 1 lakh 50 thousands people have been affected in the first wave of flood. Vehicle movement was affected at National Highway 37 at Bokakhat. Sources said, over 10 thousand people have taken shelter at relief camps. State Disaster Response Force teams have been deployed at some places for relief and rescue measures. Flood water damaged a few roads and bridge approaches at Golaghat district.
