ROSWELL The flooding that swept through Roswell June 8 hit the community hard. Flooding took its toll on home and residents.
Roswell resident Candi Carlisle, who has two children involved in the baseball program, said the park was under water Friday. The flooding also was devastating on the program, which is small with limited funds.
The program has lost everything — the equipment shed, equipment and concession stand. The field also is in bad shape.
An account has been set up at branches of First Federal Bank for anyone wishing to help out the program. Just let the bank know you would like to donate to the Roswell Baseball program.
