Eight witnesses for hearing into Ipswich mayor's fraud charges

Fraud charges against suspended Ipswich mayor Andrew Antoniolli have been mentioned briefly in a Brisbane court.

The 47-year-old did not appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday on the seven fraud allegations by the Queensland Crime and Corruption Commission.

Lawyers indicated eight witnesses would be called at a three-day hearing for the charges in an Ipswich court, which would be arranged when the matter is next mentioned on June 20.
