4 injured in stone-pelting during clash

At least four persons were injured in stone-pelting during a clash between two groups of the same community over the alleged eve-of a woman in district, a said today.

According to Rajive Kumar Singh, the clash broke out in Tabita village last evening.

The police has taken nine people into custody and the situation is under control, Singh added.

In another incident, a woman was allegedly beaten up after she resisted an eve-attempt by a man at a colony in town. The man was later handed over to the police by locals.
