NEW MILFORD - Cars are being diverted away from Route 7 in Gaylordsville after two cars crashed head on Wednesday.

The accident occured around 10 a.m. on Kent Road just south of the intersection with Cedar Hill Road. Police said two cars are involved. Injuries are being reported and an ambulance is enroute to the scene. Whether the injuries were serious were not immediately known.

The road has been closed to traffic in both directions while police investigate the accident.
