New Delhi: Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal has set aside an order that imposed penalties of Rs 17.5 crore and Rs 1.25 crore on Delhi-based Knowledge Infrastructure Systems Private Ltd and its promoter Rahul Bhandare, respectively. They are accused of inflating the value of coal imports from Indonesia.
In February 2017, the company appealed in the tribunal against the order passed by the adjudicating authority.
