LUCKNOW: UP governor
Ram Naik on Tuesday asked CM Yogi Adityanath to initiate legal action into the damage caused to 4, Vikramaditya Marg which was vacated by SP chief
Akhilesh Yadav. Naik said reports about damage to the bungalow raised serious concerns since it was a state property constructed with public money.
Raj Bhavan stepped in even as the estate department said the expenditure on construction of the bungalow was of around Rs 90 lakh. Sources said the department came up with an inventory list before checking the condition of all bungalows. “The condition of all bungalows, except 4, Vikramaditya Marg, was found satisfactory,” a UP estate department official said.
The development came three days after the media was allowed inside the bungalow. The bungalow was found in a shambles and the reports triggered a slugfest between SP and BJP.
