Two beloved former Law & Order franchise stars, Chris Noth and Danny Pino, are teaming up for a new crime drama on WGN, per Deadline.

Gone stars The Hunger Games' Leven Rambin as a woman named Kit "Kick" Lannigan, who was abducted as a child and rescued by FBI agent Frank Novak (Noth). Now grown, Lannigan has trained herself to be something of an avenging angel for missing and abducted youth, and Novak recruits her for his missing persons task force. Pino plays Agent John Bishop, a new member of the task force with a dark past of his own.

Noth previously was part of the original cast of Law & Order in 1990, and starred on the procedural until 1995. Later, he returned as Det. Logan for Law & Order: Criminal Intent and was a series regular on that spin-off from 2005 to 2008.

Pino played goodhearted NYPD detective Nick Amaro on Law & Order: SVU for four seasons from 2011 to 2015. He was Olivia Benson's (Mariska Hargitay) partner after Det. Stabler (Chris Meloni) left.

Gone is produced in part by NBC International Studios, with funding coming from numerous international entities. It originally premiered in Australia last year, and has also aired in France, Germany and the United Kingdom. WGN America no longer produces original series, and instead licenses international series for American broadcast.

On Tuesday, WGN America also announced that it has picked up a comedy called Carter, starring Jerry O'Connell as an actor who played a detective on TV who becomes a detective in real life after his life in Hollywood falls apart.

Carter will premiere on WGN America Aug. 7, while Gone is coming early next year.
