The Saskatoon Police Service are investigating after a 22-year-old woman was injured in a shooting on Monday evening.
Police were called to the 600 block of Confederation Drive where it was reported someone was shot outside of an apartment.
The woman was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The woman was standing on an apartment balcony when she was shot, police said in a press release.
Witnesses described a four door Volkswagen that pulled into to a nearby parking lot with two men and two women inside. One of the occupants sitting in the back of the vehicle fired at the woman, striking her.
Police said they do not believe the shooting was random.
