Vadodara: Members of the representative committee of lawyers appointed by the Baroda Bar Assocation (BBA) to solve the issue of seating arrangement in Diwalipura court complex will meet the judges of Gujarat high court on Wednesday.
The committee of the lawyers was informed about the meeting, which will be the second, by the high court through principal district judge on Tuesday.

In the first meeting, the committee had discussed about the drawings made by an architect and the formula that they had devised for allotment of the tables to the advocates. However, the high court judges had asked the committee to present the formula in the form of a resolution passed by the elected body of the association.

It was after that meeting that the representative committee had asked the office-bearers to pass the resolution which was kept getting delayed. Due to the delay the members had even written an open letter announcing their resignation. But the association passed the resolution which will be presented before the high court.

Meanwhile, the lawyers, stamp vendors and typists continue to sit on floor as a mark of protest to demand seating arrangement of their choice.
