Fall River police searching for R.I. man accused of embezzlement

A Rhode Island man is wanted by police for allegedly stealing over $80,000 from his employer.

FALL RIVER — A Rhode Island man is wanted by police for allegedly stealing over $80,000 from his employer.

Police said an arrest warrant has been issued for Pedro Chantre, 46, with a last known address of 1242 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

An investigation conducted by Fall River detectives Dwaine Cabeceiras and Luis Vertentes determined that Chantre embezzled the money during a 60-day period from his former employer.
