Lambton College has reopened after police received a 'threat' directed toward the residence building.
People were told to leave the Sarnia-based college as police searched the campus this afternoon.
"We're taking all precautions to ensure that everyone is safe," said Const. John Sottosanti, who said there was an increased police presence in the area with a mobile command centre set-up.
Officers have cleared from Lambton College and roads and the College have re-opened. Fortunately no explosive or any other sort of threatening device was located. Investigation is still continuing. Thank you for your patience!

Asked to stay away
The residence building was evacuated and people were being turned away from entering the campus.
"We are asking everyone to leave the college and remain away from the college as we continue our investigation into this matter."
Busses will be arriving at the Wellington Street entrance for any student requiring transportation.

"Everyone's gone, everyone's safe and they've evacuated the campus."
