An Ambridge man is facing charges after police said he sexually assaulted a 10-year-old boy.
AMBRIDGE — A borough man is facing charges after police said he sexually assaulted a 10-year-old boy.
According to a police report, Nico G. Ridout, 19, was charged Tuesday after two people told officers they walked in on the assault.
Police said they were notified at about 4 a.m. June 8 when the residents witness Ridout assaulting the child in a bedroom at an Ambridge home. Ridout spoke to officers and told police he had inappropriate contact with the child more than once in the past month.
Ridout, of 642 Beaver Road, was charged by Ambridge police with involuntary deviant sexual intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child, statutory sexual assault and indecent assault.
He was taken to the Beaver County Jail on Tuesday after failing to post a $20,000 bond, court records show.
