
Park Police investigating sexual assault allegation at SPAC

SARATOGA SPRINGS - The State Park Police are investigating after a woman told police a man groped her and punched her in the face during Kendrick Lamar's performance over the weekend.
A Park Police spokesman said police take an aggressive approach to maintaining safety and in and around SPAC during the concert season. Over 22,000 people attended the show.
The woman posted photos of her injuries and a description of the assault on her Facebook page, where it had been shared over 7,000 times. She said she was at the front of the lawn section and that the man walked up behind her and grabbed her by the crotch to move her out of his way. When she protested, he hit her in the face, she told police.
The suspect is described as a white man approximately 18 to 20 years old,standing approximately 5-foot-11, wearing a black hat and white basketball jersey. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to called Park Police at 518-584-2004.
