Armaan Kohli apprehended at Lonavla farmhouse

Santacruz police on Tuesday apprehended 46-year-old actor-producer Armaan Kohli at a farmhouse in Lonavla. Police said Kohli was absconding after he allegedly assaulted his live-in partner, Neeru Randhawa, and she landed in hospital on June 3.

According to the police, Kohli was hiding at various farmhouses in the state.

“Kohli was tracked down to a farmhouse in Lonavla,” said a police official.

“Teams were formed to track him since he escaped and his location was being tracked. He stayed at various places in Solapur, Mawal, Pune before Lonavla,” the official further said.

According to a source, the police staff that went in search of Kohli to different locations were carrying his photograph.

When they showed his photo to some locals at Lonavla, they identified the actor.

They helped the police in tracking Kohli to the farmhouse, from where the team brought the actor to Mumbai on Tuesday evening.

The police had received a call from a hospital on June 3.

After reaching the hospital, police officials saw Randhawa receiving treatment for her injuries.

The police had recorded Randhawa’s statement after which they said it was clear that Kohli had allegedly assaulted her during an argument.

After a case was registered with the police, a team was formed to investigate into the matter.

Speaking on June 3, a senior police officer from Santacruz police station had said, “The argument was over a financial issue.”
