Zinedine Zidane has no immediate plans to get back into management, with the Frenchman enjoying a break after leaving Real Madrid.
The 45-year-old stunned the football world when announcing his departure from the Santiago Bernabeu a matter of days after guiding his side to a third successive Champions League crown.
His roll of honour in the Spanish capital also included a Liga title and two Club World Cup triumphs, with nine trophies collected in all.
Zidane opted to walk away on a high, with legendary status established in his playing days having been enhanced in coaching circles, and he will not be rushing into another post.
Quizzed on his future plans at a promotional event in Paris, the World Cup winner said: "I've got my feet up and am feeling good.
"I don't know what I'm going to do.
"The most important thing is the decision I've taken, the rest we'll see."
Zidane has already been billed as a future manager of France, with current Les Blues boss Didier Deschamps among those expecting such a role to be filled at some point.
He said: "I don't know what he [Zidane] decided. I think for now, he wants to enjoy the rest, his family and loved ones.
"And then after, and as I said, he will definitely be a coach of the French team someday.
"When? I cannot say. But it seems logical. It will happen when it happens."
Zidane has also been told by former France team-mate Robert Pires that he would have little trouble finding a job in England if he wants to take on another challenge in club football.
He told Sky Sports: "He's competitive and I think he can find a good solution, and he can find a new [type of] football, because you know the Premier League and La Liga is not the same football.
"If he wants to try the Premier League he will find a new club, no problem for him."
For now, though, Zidane is preparing to watch the 2018 World Cup finals as a fan.
Once the action in Russia is over, his attention may then turn to a possible post for the 2018-19 campaign.
