‘Single window system will be made more effective for investors’

The single window clearance system will be made more effective for the industrial investors in Rajasthan.

“For this, all departments concerned have been provided with business clearance study template and asked to send their necessary requirements within seven days,” informed Krishna Kunal, the commissioner of industries and Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP) in a meeting with the officials dealing with the single window clearance system, in Jaipur on Tuesday.

“With an effective single window clearance system, the industrial investor will get all business related information and services with a single click,” he added. There will be prescribed timelines for all available services from the point of submission of applications to processing and approval. The system will have all relevant information about the acts, processes and checklist of documents so that the investors can complete all formalities online.

Stressing on the importance of processing applications on time, Kunal asked the department officials to undertake a process mapping exercise for all business clearances through a defined template and submit the same to the system. “We have to understand the problems of investors keeping ourselves in their place,” he said.

Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Mamgane, the deputy director of industries department, said that 15 departments are providing 87 services through the single window clearance system.

Officials of the department of information and technology, revenue, energy, public health engineering department, labour, factory and boiler, environment, cooperative, tourism and BIP attended the meeting.
