KINGSBURY - A town man who was wanted on felony DWI charges dating to 2012 was arrested on Wednesday, Washington County Sheriff's Office said.

Scott E. Carpenter, 50,was arrested on a warrant for the June 8, 2012 incident on County Route 36, deputies said. At that time, he crashed his motorcycle while allegedly driving while intoxicated, deputies said.

At the time of the crash, an injured Carpenter was transported to the hospital. He then fled the area, deputies said.

He faces felony aggravated unlicensed operation and felony DWI as he had a previous DWI conviction, deputies said.

He was sent to Washington County jail without bail.
