Telangana unions get government recognition

Chief Secretary SK Joshi issued orders recognising all Telangana unions or associations, after holding a meeting at the Secretariat with TNGOs on Monday.

HYDERABAD: All the employee unions or associations started in erstwhile AP with “Telangana” in their name are recognised in Telangana too. Chief Secretary SK Joshi issued orders recognising all Telangana unions or associations, after holding a meeting at the Secretariat with TNGOs on Monday.

The employee unions brought to the notice of State government that units that broke away during Statehood movement had doubts if their unions were recognised or not. Union leaders V Srinivas Goud, V Mamatha, Pamdachary and others held a meeting with CM KCR on this issue.
Later, a Government Order was issued recognising all such Associations/ Unions.
