GREENVILLE, SC — Trisha Heatherly, a sophomore christian ministries major of North Dartmouth, was among the Bob Jones University students named to the spring dean's list.

WORCESTER — Hayley Galib, of Swansea, is one of 24 students who spent two weeks studying at the Assumption College's campus in Rome as a member of the SOPHIA program (SOPHomore Initiative at Assumption College). The group, accompanied by college President Francesco C. Cesareo, Ph.D., spent their time exploring various parts of the city, visiting and learning about historic landmarks, including the Coliseum, Roman Forum, Spanish Steps and Saint Peter's Basilica in their search for a deeper connection between their spiritual, personal and professional lives.

POTSDAM, NY — The State University of New York at Potsdam announced Lauren Hart, of South Dartmouth, graduated summa cum laude from SUNY Potsdam with a bachelor's degree in Music Education.

WORCESTER — The Assumption College Office of Student Affairs has announced that 24 students have been selected among a significant pool of applicants to serve as 2018 orientation leaders. Local students include:

LOWELL — Madison Hyde, of Somerset, graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell with a bachelor's degree in music business and a minor in finance. She has been accepted at Northeastern University in the Masters in Music Leadership program beginning in the fall.

CASTINE, Maine — Amanda Holewiak, an international business and logistics major from Somerset was name to the dean's list at Maine Maritime Academy for outstanding academic achievement in the second semester of the 2017-2018 academic year.

ALMA, MI — Cosette Coston, of Tiverton, has been named to the Alma College dean's list for the 2018 winter term. Coston is studying psychology/theatre and is a graduate of Tiverton High School.

WILLIAMSPORT, PA — Andrew Dion of Fall River and Kaitlyn de Melo, of Tiverton, were named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Lycoming College.
