Latest "CBS This Morning" Podcast original:
Tackling life's challenges with inner fortitude

Only on the "CBS This Morning" podcast, when people face tragedy and challenges in life, what helps them to persevere? Co-authors Dr. Sampson Davis and Sharlee Jeter attempt to answer that question in their new book: "The Stuff: Unlock Your Power to Overcome Challenges, Soar, and Succeed."
Jeter was diagnosed with cancer while still in college, but she remained in school to complete here degree between chemotherapy treatments. She's now the president of the Turn 2 Foundation, a nonprofit created by her brother, Derek Jeter. Dr. Davis, now an emergency room physician and New York Times bestselling author, almost led a different life after getting sent to juvenile detention. He made a pact with some of his high school friends to attend medical school. They both credit "the stuff" for getting them through life's challenges. They joined the "CBS This Morning" podcast with CBSN anchor Anne-Marie Green to discuss how to tackle life's challenges with resiliency.
