Netflix Is Keeping Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown Around "For Months to Come"

Anthony Bourdain's renowned travel and food series Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown just got a much-appreciated extension on Netflix.

The series was previously scheduled to leave Netflix on June 16, as the service's streaming license for the show had expired. But the wake of Bourdain's suicide last week, subscribers requested that the show stay on, and some fans even created a Change.org petition to keep Parts Unknown available for streaming. Fans obviously wanted to spend more time with the late, great chef.

Luckily, Netflix announced they'd be keeping the series around for a while so that viewers could commemorate Bourdain. "As of today, we've extended our agreement that will keep Parts Unknown on the service for months to come," Netflix said in a statement to Deadline.

Parts Unknown is currently airing its 11th season Sundays at 9/8c on CNN.
