23-year-old Bengaluru techie jumps off 12th-floor office

BENGALURU: A 23-year-old software professional allegedly jumped to his death from his workplace on the 12th floor of a building in ITPB, Whitefield, on Monday.

Bhavesh Jaiswal, from MP, was a trainee decision scientist at data analytics firm MU Sigma, colleagues said. Police are clueless as to why he took the extreme step.

Police said a security guard heard a loud thud at the front of the building around 4pm and rushed to the spot, only to find Jaiswal lying dead in a pool of blood.

Deputy commissioner of police Abdul Ahad, Whitefield, said, "He jumped to his death from a window."

An investigating officer said: "We didn't find any death note. We have sent his mobile phone and laptop to the forensic sciences laboratory for examination ."
