BJP national general secretary Bhupendra Yadav on Monday asserted that parties “flocking together” out of fear of NDA’s expansion will not be able to stop Narendra Modi’s rath and exhorted party workers to work hard so that coalition wins all 40 Lok Sabha seats of Bihar.

Yadav, a Rajya Sabha member and in-charge of party affairs in Bihar, not only showered praise Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his work done during NDA’s 10 years of regime in Bihar but also compared his work with that of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Sushashan’ (good governance).

“After 2014 general elections, NDA has found its new allies in Jammu and Kashmir, UP, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Maharashtra, Goa. NDA is expanding and parties apprehensive of NDA are flocking together but they will not be able to stop Narendra Modi’s rath (winning streak),” Yadav said.

Yadav, who was addressing a party’s day long meeting of state level office-bearers of

various Manch and Morchas here, was accompanied by Bihar BJP chief Nityanand Rai, Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi, Bihar Ministers Nand Kishore Yadav, Mangal Pandey, Prem Kumar, Binod Narayan Jha and party’s state general secretary (organisation) Nagendra jee.

He asked party workers to apprise people about the work done by both the Central and state governments as part of its preparations for 2019 general elections.

“Its not that only we took forward the politics of Sushashan but NDA government also took forward the politics of Sushashan in Bihar after 2005...We took Bihar out of morass in 2005 and since then NDA is working smoothly and efficiently under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Bihar,” he said.

Yadav praised Bihar government’s decision to implement prohibition as it has not only increased the sale of edible items such as milk, Sudha dairy products, lassi but has also helped in containing crime graph post prohibition.

“I was going through the Bihar government’s Economic Survey which has been prepared by two independent organisations. The report said that figures of rape, crime against women, crime against SC and ST, dacoity, loot have come down when comapred with the figures of 2015-16,” Yadav said while adding that Congress is opposing every decision of the Central Government whereas RJD is playing the same trick here.
