Luciferfans, there's still a glimmer of hope that we haven't seen the last of that lovable Satan you like so much!

Though Fox canceled the series in May, Amazon is reportedly in talks to bring the show into its fold, according to a Deadline interview with new Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke.

"We were talking about Lucifer," Salke said last week. "I know that international, especially the UK group, was really bullish on that show, I haven't checked in on that today (Thursday), but I heard conversations were ongoing on that yesterday."

Finally, Some Good News for Lucifer Fans

OK, so that's not a lot to go on other than the fact that Lucifer is still making the rounds at networks. But we know Amazon hasn't been shy about picking up others' scraps, as it just saved Syfy's The Expanse from cancellation after fan uproar.

But if Amazon is going to pull the trigger and save Lucifer, it had better do it quickly. According to star Lauren German, the cast's contracts are up on June 16, and after that the actors are free to go their separate ways and audition for other shows. Once that happens, getting the band together would be extremely difficult.

Cross your fingers!
