HYDERABAD: BJP national president Amit Shah is expected to arrive here on June 22 for a three day tour across the State. According to party sources, Shah will officially kick-off the Parivarthan Yatra being proposed by the State party leadership to cover all the 119 Assembly segments in the State in a phased manner.

In the first phase, the yatra will cover 30 Assembly segments. All the party seniors led by State unit chief K Laxman will take part in the Yatra, aimed at preparing the party cadres for the 2019 general elections. The Yatra will begin from temple town, Yadadri.

“The exact date of launch of our Yatra will be finalised on Tuesday. Depending on that, Shah’s tour programme will be finalised,” party MLA NVSS Prabhakar said on Monday.

Recalling that BJP central leadership is firm on winning the Telangana and AP Assembly polls in 2019, Prabhakar said during his visit, Shah will guide the party leaders on how to further strengthen the party at grassroots level.
