Almost every kid's favorite part of summer camp is swimming and for this year's campers, Camp Fire North Texas has a brand new pool.
The new swimming pool is roughly where the old one was but it's much larger, 40 feet by 110 feet with a diving board and a slide.
The facility also features a new fence to keep everyone safe.
Red Cross certified life guards are on hand and each morning starts with swimming lessons and water safety.
Camp Fire North Texas began in 1915 and is one of the oldest youth organizations in the area.
This summer's Day Camp session includes about 300 children enjoying activities like archery, dancing, arts and crafts, science, canoeing, nature study, sports and swimming.
There is still time to register kids for the last session, June 18-22.
