Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and National Defence Fund(NDF)

All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

The BJP has rejected Congress party's poor assessment of the economy. Talking to AIR, BJP spokesperson Nalin Kohli said, the Indian economy is recording higher growth rate quarter by quarter.

He was reacting to Congress leader and former Finance Minister P Chidambaram's allegation that the economic condition in the country has worsened in the last 12 months.

Briefing media in New Delhi, Mr Chidambaram said, there is widespread anger over rising prices of petrol, diesel and LPG.

He also said, there is not much job creation in the country as promised by the government when voted to power.
