Priyadarshan will be once again collaborating with art director Sabu Cyril for his upcoming historical epic Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham. "We are happy to have India's most celebrated Art Director Sabu Cyril to be a part of Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham and he joins for the Pre-Production works of Marakkar in Chennai", announced the film's makers.

A frequent collaborator of Priyadarshan, Sabu first worked with the ace director on Adwaytham and has since then handled the production design of many Priyadarshan hits, including Thenmavin Kombathu and Kaalapani, both which fetched him National Awards. The duo worked together on a total of 43 films.
Apart from Priyadarshan, Sabu has also worked with directors Mani Ratnam and Shankar on several of their projects. He recently handled the production design of Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Beginning and its sequel, Baahubali: The Conclusion. He is currently working on another upcoming Prabhas film, Saaho.
