Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and National Defence Fund(NDF)

All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

Union Minister for National Highways and Road Transport Nitin Gadkari today took stock of progress of national highway projects in a meeting held in South Goa. The two-day meeting commenced today.

Mr Gadkari reviewed around 700 projects. Of these, the expenditure on 427 projects will be borne by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The Road Transport Ministry would implement 369 projects worth Rs 100 crores.

Mr Gadkari said, 300 of the 700 projects will be completed by March 2019. The union road transport ministry is celebrating this year as the construction year. Goa PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar and senior officials from NHAI and PWD are participating in the meeting.
