CHHAPRA: Police have arrested four criminals from Rampur Moya under the Gaura police outpost in
Saran district in connection with the murder of one Shibu Pandey (25), whose body was recovered from Newaji Tola in
Chhapra town. According to police, Pandey, a resident of Garhi Tir locality of the town, was killed on May 30.
“The arrested persons have been identified as Dinesh Rai, Santosh Kumar, Pawan and Chhotu Kumar,”
Saran SP Har Kishore Rai said on Monday, adding efforts were on to arrest other accused in the case. Police have also recovered cartridges, a knife, a motorcycle and Rs12,400 in cash from the possession of the arrested persons.
