MIDLAND — Two East Liverpool, Ohio women are facing charges locally after police said they assaulted two people inside a borough home, then threw a brick through a car window.
According to a police report, Iman L. Wade, 22, and Payton Wilson, 19, are accused of entering a Penn Avenue home and assaulting two residents.
Police said officers were called at about 1:15 a.m. June 1 when a man and a woman reported Wade and Wilson assaulted them. Wade and Wilson “attacked” the woman by throwing her to the ground, pulling her hair, kicking and hitting her, police said.
According to the report, Wade threw an E&J liquor bottle at the woman, hitting her in the head.
Police said they found the woman with scratches on her head, neck and face. There were also bite marks on her shoulder, police said. According to the report, the man also had several scratches on his face.
Police said the couple did not want to press charges, and officers left the home.
About 20 minutes later, the man and woman reported a brick was thrown through the woman’s car window, police said. According to the report, the brick shattered the rear window. Police said there were also two deep scratches to the trunk.
Wade and Wilson were both charged by Midland police with aggravated assault, burglary, trespassing, simple assault, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and harassment.
