Tuscarawas County split an American Legion baseball doubleheader with host Utica on Sunday.

The Panthers won the first game 5-0 and Utica won the second game 4-2.

Seth Johnson was the winning pitcher and added an single and RBI in the first game.

In the second game, Aaron Mizer suffered the tough luck loss, allowing only one earned run. Reece Harmon had two singles for the Panthers.

The Panthers are now 3-6 on the season.
