One person dead after water emergency at Rotorua home

A man has been found dead in a pool at a Rotorua home.

Emergency services were called to the property on Holland St in Glenholme just before 11am on Monday. 

A man died at the scene.

He was found in a pool at a home, a police spokesman confirmed. 

"The death is not believed to be suspicious and will be referred to the Coroner."

Ambulance services could not comment, referring inquiries to police. 

Fire services confirmed they were called to the home by ambulance.
