Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and National Defence Fund(NDF)

All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

With the inspiration of ‘Beti Bacho-Beti padao’ programme being initiated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, East coast Railways, Waltair Division has launched ‘SUBHADRA VAHINI’ programme for the security and protection of Women.

Waltair Division, Divisional Railway Manager, Mukul Saran Mathur has formally launched this programme today at Visakhapatnam Railway Station. A 32 member- women team consisting of RPF police and TC women employees will monitor the security of the women passengers in Trains and Railway stations in the division.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Mathur said that it is the first time Waltair Divison has started such unique programee in the country with women RPF and TCs of the waltair division of East coast Railways.

He told women can complain on 24 hours toll-free helpline 182 for the grievance related to security of women. RPF senior commandant, Jeetesh and others participated in the inaugural function.
