Several events gave residents of Mt. Pleasant, Ithaca and St. Louis activities to take part in.

Porchfest featured a dozen artists performing Sunday at homes in the Washington Area Neighborhood in Mt. Pleasant.

The 20th edition of the St. Louis fishing derby took place on Saturday.

Dozens of classic cars were driven and stationed Saturday to Mt. Pleasant during the “Back to the Bricks” promo tour.

Also, the Alma Sewing Center will soon celebrate its 30th anniversary of being owned by Ken and Kim Solomon.

Hospital grades for McLaren Central Michigan and MidMichigan Medical Center - Gratiot in Alma were released as well.
