HP Govt to consider redesignate Veterinary Pharmacists: CM

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has announced that the State Government would soon take a decision to change the designation of the Veterinary Pharmacists to Veterinary Inspectors on the analogy of Punjab Government besides fulfilling their other genuine demands.

He was presiding over a function organised by the Animal Husbandry Employees Union of district Mandi at Sundernagar.

The Chief Minister said his government was giving special focus on socio-economic welfare of the people of the rural areas so that the state could achieve new heights of prosperity and development.

He said as per the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the State Government was making all out efforts to double the income of the farming community.

To achieve this target, he said, the Animal Husbandry Department had also a great role to play and the employees should work with dedication for successful implementation of policies and programmes of the government up to grass root level.

Earlier, the Chief Minister laid foundation stone of first phase of parking for Sundernagar town to be constructed at a cost of Rs 6.36 crore. He also laid foundation stone of Poultry Farm Farmer Training Centre at sub divisional veterinary hospital, Sundernagar which will cost Rs 1.79 crore.
