• Mike Papi’s two-run double keyed a five-run third inning in Triple-A Columbus’ 7-4 win over Louisville.

The Bats countered with four runs in the home third, but were held scoreless for the next six innings. The Clippers (30-31) added insurance runs in the fifth and seventh.

Shao-Ching Chiang pitched 5 1/3 innings to earn his first win at Triple-A. Chiang (1-0) allowed four runs and five hits. George Kontos recorded the final five outs for his first save with Columbus.

The Clippers’ five-run inning chased Louisville starter Homer Bailey after the third. Bailey (0-1) was responsible for five runs and six hits.

• Double-A Akron was idle. Top pitching prospect Triston McKenzie starts for the RubberDucks (36-27) as they host New Hampshire June 12.

• Chris Clare’s one-out single in the 10th inning scored the game’s lone run in Frederick’s victory over High-A Lynchburg, 1-0.

Alex Wells pitched eight shutout innings and struck out nine Hillcats for the Keys. Zuck Muckenhirn added three scoreless innings to earn his first victory.

Sam Hentges struck out six in 6 2/3 scoreless innings for Lynchburg (27-32). Jared Robinson yielded the game-winning run in the 10th after T.J. Nichting began the inning on second base.

Mayfield graduate Mitch Longo went 1-for-4 for the Hillcats.

• Jared Walker’s solo home run in the ninth gave Great Lakes a walk-off, 7-6 victory over visiting Low-A Lake County.

The Captains (26-38) led, 6-3, after seven innings. The Loons tied the game in the eighth on a two-run single and Jonathan Teaney’s wild pitch to set up Walker’s game-winning home run.

Jonathan Laureano hit his sixth home run to put Lake County up, 1-0, in the first. The Loons responded with three runs in the home first.

Will Benson’s two-run single keyed a three-run seventh that gave the Captains the lead after they rallied to tie the score.

James Carter (2-0) pitched the ninth to earn a victory for Great Lakes. Dace Kime (1-1) was saddled with the loss after he yielded the walk-off home run.
