Nadal beats Thiem in straight sets for 11th French Open title

Rafael Nadal won his 11th French Open title Sunday after defeating Roland Garros in straight sets.

Rafael Nadal has won a record-extending 11th French Open title.

The top-seeded Spaniard downed Dominic Thiem of Austria 6-4, 6-3, 6-2 to win the men’s final at Roland Garros.

Thiem was contesting his first Grand Slam final.
