Mary Ruth Cozad, 88, of Cranberry Twp., passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018. She was born October 12, 1929, in Ambridge, daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary Stone (Ruth) Beerman. Mary was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. Mary provided exceptional nurture and guidance to her children as her husband Rudy proudly served his country in a military career. She was a faithful member of St. Ferdinand Parish, Cranberry Twp., for over 40 years, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, and was a member of the Women's Group, the Funeral Luncheon Committee and a Bible Study Group. Mary was also a member of the Red Hat Society for a number of years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Leo Beerman. Mary is survived by her husband of 65 years, Rutherford "Rudy" Cozad; six children and spouses, Michael (Helen) Cozad, Crafton; Mark (Donna) Cozad, Cranberry Twp.; Anita (Brian) Neff, Cape Coral, Fla.; Mary Jo (Carl) Follmer, Freedom; Julia (Jeff) Jenkins, Erie, and Teresa (Chris) Carney, Baltimore, Md.; thirteen grandchildren, Christopher, Erin, A.J., Molly, Kelly, Logan, Patrick, Maura, Haley, Kevin, Lauren, Declan and Nolan, all of whom she was immensely proud; four great-grandchildren, and two sisters- in-law, Vicky Mentzer, Crafton, and Jean Beerman, Leetsdale. Friends were received Saturday, June 9, 2018, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 11, 2018, at St. Ferdinand Church, 2535 Rochester Rd., Cranberry Twp., PA 16066. The public is respectfully invited to arrive directly at the Church on Monday morning. Private interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
