Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan hosted the customary iftar at Samskruthi community hall on Raj Bhavan premises here on Sunday.
Chief Minister K Chadrasekhar Rao along with his Cabinet colleagues, senior politicians and Muslim religious heads attended the iftar.
Among those who attended were Chief Secretary S.K. Joshi, Director General of Police M. Mahender Reddy, Speaker Madhusudhana Chary, Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mohammad Ali, Home Minister Naini Narasihma Reddy, Legislative Council Chairman Swamy Goud, MLA C. Ramchandra Reddy and TRS MPs Malla Reddy, B. Vinod Kumar and Rajya Sabha member Santosh Rao.
Former Chief Secretaries Rajiv Sharma and S.P. Singh and former DGP Dinesh Reddy were also present at the iftar hosted by the first citizen of both Telugu States.
The guests exchanges pleasantries with the Governor and Chief Minister, who occupied specially erected chairs in the hall.
GHMC Commissioner B. Janardhan Reddy, Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin and BC Commission Chairman B.S. Ramulu also partook of the sumptuous fare.
