Gates India, a part of Gates Industrial Company (a leading manufacturer of application-specific fluid power and power transmission solutions), recently hosted its distributor conference at Almaty (Kazakhstan). Participants of the conference were top performing 34 distributors from automotive & industrial markets; Gates India commercial team from India; TS Khoo, President East Asia & India from Singapore; and Michael Haen VP Global Fluid Power PLM from Denver.
This event provided the opportunity to have top performing distributors in one place for networking and future business discussion. It was a great time for our distributors to learn from one another. Commitment, growth, strategies and ideas were discussed with one to one interaction between channel partners and Gates senior Management T S Khoo, Michael Haen and Rajesh Bhandari, Managing Director India.
“It is vitally important to bring our valued industrial & automotive replacement channel partners together to learn, ask questions ,gain knowledge resources and share ideas to make businesses grow and more profitable,” said TS Khoo.
Rajesh Bhandari shared the 2020 plan and addressed participants as key players for bringing mutual growth to business. The conference was filled with engaging presentations from senior managements of Gates along with success stories of channel partners with Gates system solutions in their region. This brought attendees up to speed on companywide programs, new products and other initiatives. New MXT hose, Polychain GT Carbon belt drive system for chain to belt conversion and the new product portfolio for AR were introduced at this platform.
During the conference, Gates team also introduced the most awaited refresh Gates logo with new tagline ‘Driven by Possibility’ to channel partners.
Top performing distributors were recognised for their achievements during 2017. Under Automotive Replacement the award was extended to Madras Auto Service, Sundaram Motors and RPJ Distributors. Under Industrial Replacement the prestigious awards were presented to Rubber Hose India, Fateh Singh Karam Singh, Rajashree Hose Pvt Ltd, Rank Hydraulics, Gourav Traders, India Hydraulics and brand loyalty prestigious award was presented to S K N Industrial House.
