DAYTONA BEACH — Some of the bridges and ramps at the eastern end of Interstate 4, near the Interstate 95 interchange, will be closed overnight later this week, the Florida Department of Transportation has announced.
Motorists headed east on I-4 toward State Road 400, aka Beville Road, will be detoured overnight starting Tuesday and Wednesday, with Thursday as a backup. The detour, which will be marked, directs travelers to exit 129 toward U.S. 92, where they will proceed east to I-95 south and then to exit 260A, taking them to Beville.
Also, those eastbound I-4 travelers intending to go south on I-95 will be detoured, following the same path to southbound I-95. It should also be noted that those headed east on I-4, then going north on I-95 will not be affected.
Finally, motorists traveling on Beville toward I-4 westbound will be detoured starting Wednesday night to exit 260C, heading north on I-95 to U.S. 92, then west toward I-4 westbound.
