On Jan. 30, 2015, at the First Baptist Church in Jacksonville Florida, Reverend Franklin Graham spoke to his congregation. There were many highlights of this speech that impressed me. I’d like to paraphrase a few of them.

He said, “the two ideologies, ‘Secularism and Communism’ are essentially the same because they are ‘godless’ and ‘anti-Christ.’ These people have taken control of our country and Washington. Today, we live in a secular society of people calling themselves ‘progressives.’ The only hope for this country is, for men and women of God to stand up and take a stand.”

“These ‘progressives’ have also taken control over our city governments, our local governments, our school boards all across the country. It happened and we haven’t even realized it happened.”

Rev. Franklin said, “when his father was going to school, they had a Bible in school. And they had the Ten Commandments on the wall. They could pray in school, (pledge allegiance to the flag 'my words'), and the teachers would lead in those prayers and pledge. Our country has changed today.”

“A coalition of blacks, Latinos, feminists, gays, government workers, union members, environmental extremists, the media, Hollywood, uniformed young people, the ‘forever needy,’ the chronically unemployed, illegal aliens and other ‘fellow travelers’ have ended Norman Rockwell’s America.

“The American Constitution has been replaced with Saul Alinsky’s ‘Rules for Radicals’ and the likes of David Axelrod and international socialist George Soros of the New World Order.”

“America has changed and it’s not coming back unless the church takes a stand. For those who come after us, they will once again, have to risk their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to bring back the Republic that this generation has timidly frittered away due to white guilt and political correctness.”
