Mr. Mills recent letter refers to the comment by Roseanne as "causing a firestorm about inequality." With that in mind along with the tired comment about "fake news," it's appropriate that certain FACTS be presented to Mr. Mills.
Fact 1: There has been an underbelly of humanity who for centuries has, for whatever reason, believed that the black race is closer to apes than any other race in the world .
A much larger underbelly has chosen for just as long to compare blacks to apes when they have a desire to disparage said race or its members. It is absolutely without question that the latter is what Roseanne had in mind (ambien notwithstanding). Inequality fits NOWHERE in this equation unless it was just a secondary beneficial outcome.
Fact 2: The fact that you only heard about Colbert's oral sex swipe at Trump from a friend does NOT mean it was not covered by the media... especially the Trump Affirmation Network (er...I mean Fox). MSNBC and CNN covered it as well.
Fact 3: Universally respected reporter Leslie Stahl pulled the veil off Trump's "fake news" claims when she revealed his response to her question concerning his barrage of insults aimed at journalists. "I do it to discredit and demean you so that when you write negative things about me, no one will believe you."
The only thing more disgusting than that are the throngs of mindless sheeple who don't possess the cognitive ability to read his 3rd grade tweets and distinguish fact from fiction.
I could fill this paper with all of his non-factual statements .. "fake news"!
(Here's the latest: Trump claims 16,000 were saved by the Coast Guard during Hurricane Harvey, many of whom went from Houston to the Gulf to view the storm. Coast Guard records show 12,000 were rescued while Texas law enforcement officials had NO idea what Trump was referring to.)
