Cloudy skies move into mid-Michigan this week

Similar to the week prior, cloudy skies are expected to be the story of the weather for the coming week.

Monday’s forecast calls for mainly sunny skies with a high of 78 degrees Fahrenheit and a low of 56 degrees with a 20 percent chance of precipitation and eastern 14 mph winds.

The high temperature on Tuesday bumps up to 84 degrees Fahrenheit, with a low of 61 degrees.

Partly cloudy skies are expected with a 20 percent chance of precipitation and east-southeast winds at 4 mph.

Sunny skies move in on Wednesday with a high of 81 degrees Fahrenheit and a low of 55 degrees.

A 20 percent chance of precipitation is forecast along with 12 mph west-northwest winds.

On Thursday, a mostly cloudy sky is forecast along with a high temperature of 79 degrees Fahrenheit with a low of 56 degrees.

Along with western 8 mph winds, a 10 percent chance of precipitation is forecast.

Partly cloudy skies are expected Friday with a high temperature of 81 degrees Fahrenheit with a low of 58 degrees, a 10 percent chance of precipitation and east-southeast 8 mph winds.

Morning thunderstorms are forecast for Saturday; a 40 percent chance of precipitation is forecast.

The high temperature is expected to be 84 degrees Fahrenheit with a low of 64 degrees and southern 10 mph winds.

Partly cloudy skies close out the forecast Sunday.

The high temperature is forecast at 87 degrees Fahrenheit and a low of 68 degrees.

There is a 20 percent chance of precipitation, and southwestern winds at 15 mph are forecast.
