CHELSEA owner Roman Abramovich only speaks to his players when they start losing games, claims former Blues midfielder John Obi Mikel.

Mikel spent 11 years at Chelsea between 2006 and 2017, winning nine major honours.
The Nigerian played under 10 different managers in his time at Stamford Bridge, with many on the end of an Abramovich sacking.
Mikel says the Russian owner would keep himself away from the squad most of the time.
But the Nigerian has revealed the billionaire would make himself known if the club were on a string of poor results.
I think the only time you see Roman is when you stop winning games!
“Well I think the only time you see Roman is when you stop winning games!” Mikel told ESPN FC.
“But he’s always there, he comes to the games all the time to watch the games.
“Maybe he might not come down every game to the dressing room, but once in a while he comes down, talks to the players.
“He comes to Cobham as well to see the players.

“With Roman you never know when he’s coming in and he likes to surprise us.
“He loves his football, he’s passionate about his football. He’s invested a lot into the game, into Chelsea.
“I hope he can continue to do that for many, many more years to come and remain a Chelsea owner.
“This club needs Roman, it’s as simple as that.”
