Lake County Captains lose to Great Lakes, 4-1

The Lake County Captains dropped their second game in a row at Great Lakes, losing 4-1 on June 9.

Tyler Friis drove in the lone Captains run with a single that brought in Jesse Berardi in the ninth inning.

Captains starting pitcher Zach Draper (0-1, 2.45 ERA) took the loss. He worked five innings, giving up three runs on six hits.

Nick Gallagher worked 2 2/3 innings of relief for Lake County, giving up one run on one hit.

The teams continue the series at 2 p.m. on June 10 at Dow Diamond.
