Kumaoni singer Pappu Karki killed in road accident

Popular and two persons were killed early today when their car turned turtle on Herakhan Road, around 40 km from here.

The incident occurred around 5 am when they were returning from a programme at Okhalkanda. While three persons, (34), (26) and Pushkar Gonia (25), died on the spot, two other occupants of the car were injured, Nainital SSP Janmejay Khanduri said.

The injured have been admitted to a hospital in Haldwani, he said.
